About La Marina

Urbanización La Marina is situated approximately 20 minutes drive south from Alicante Airport. It is a very well developed residential area with many local amenities including; Emergency Services Centre (Police and Ambulance), Tourist Information Office, National Health Medical Centre (bring your EHIC) and a private medical health clinic (fee-paying), three public swimming pool and leisure complexes, snooker club, bowls club, several banks and supermarkets, pharmacies, newsagents, plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes, and much more! There is a good bus service to all the local towns and markets as well as to the beaches in the summer.
The beautiful Blue Flag golden sandy beaches with beach bars and restaurants is only 6 minutes drive from the Urbanisation. The coast stretches 17 km from Santa Pola to Torrevieja.
For golf lovers, the closest course is La Marquesa situated at Rojales about 5 miles away. Las Ramblas, Villamartin, and a championship golf course and Campoamor are within a 20 minute drive. The famous golf courses at La Manga are 45 minutes drive.
